3D-Intelliclamp - provides stability in all directions

– We noticed a lack of good solutions for how several enclosures could be joined into larger, more stable sections and modules, particularly when it comes to electrical boxes or ventilation and fan units. The existing designs on the market weren’t stable and couldn’t ensure fitting in all directions. Intelliclamp™ can guarantee this, and we’re already seeing a great interest for this new solution.

Designer Alex Rasooli (see photo) continues the Industrilås tradition of sticking one’s neck out with products that solve problems from new perspectives.

The secret with Intelliclamp™ is that it brings forth both stability and exactitude in the fitting. The curvature is designed to provide a stable connection in all axes. The design with the wave-shaped halves combined with the nut and the penetrating bolt provide for superior stability when the bolt is tightened, explains Rasooli, who made sure to think strictly of the user’s needs and desires while developing Intelliclamp™.

– It gives you an incredible boost to identify and solve a problem and then contribute to new products that are welcomed on the market and that we as a company can be proud of. It’s very gratifying, states Alex Rasooli.

Intelliclamp™ consists of two fitted sections, a nut and a penetrating bolt. Intelliclamp™ is cast in zinc, delivered zinc-plated or with black powder coat and works in both outdoor and interior environments. Intelliclamp™ is tested and approved for a total load of 500 kg (1,100 lbs).

With the aid of Intelliclamp™ smaller sections are bolted together in the X-, Y- and Z-directions to form one larger unit. This creates a stable connection providing straight surfaces when the bolt is tightened. It mounts with rivets or screws on the underlying surface. The design is implemented especially well when smaller enclosures or units need to be assembled into one larger module.
