Attractive and durable– In-house powder coating capability makes Industrilås an incredibly complete supplier. Regardless of whether the items have been cast or lathed here or not this is a good choice, environmentally as well. The facility is ecofriendly and thanks to our own powder coating we avoid many heavy truck transports. We see gains both in time and for the environment. Magnus Söderholm, in charge of coating at Industrilås, explains that the coating has several advantages. The aesthetics may in certain cases factor in heavily. There is a myriad of colours to choose from.
It is of course equally important that after the coating the products hold up considerably better against corrosion and oxidation. Pre-treatment with Bonderite ™ rust protection is also done.
– We coat a lot of die-cast zinc, but cover other metals as well, states Söderholm.
The new powder coating facility at Industrilås can accommodate products with maximum dimensions of 1100 by 800 by 400 millimetres.
